My Skills.

PHP (Laravel)

Experience building robust back-end solutions using the PHP language. I've also started learning the Laravel framework, to expand my PHP skillset. I have built many projects using PHP, mostly back-end focused.

React

Building dynamic and interactive front-end applications with ReactJS/TS. I prefer to use React for most of my front-end projects, and it's a framework which I have been using for about half a year by now.

JavaScript

I have used JavaScript for almost all of my projects, usually to create details but also to handle specific needs for the applications.

Next.js

Creating SEO-friendly, server-rendered React applications with Next.js for optimal performance. I am working on two projects with Next.js currently, which can be found on the projects page in a few months. This portfolio is also built in Next.js!

Clients

I have worked for two real clients, developing front-end solutions for Damiën Heemskerk and making a voting website for Creative Waves (GLR).

Designing

I always design my own websites, mostly using Figma. I am also experienced with Adobe tools such as Photoshop.

About Me.

My name is Aaron Heemskerk, I am 17 years old, currently residing in The Netherlands. I am a full-stack software developer, focusing on web applications. I have a drive to keep learning new things and to expand my network. I also provide websites for real clients next to my education.

I am currently making my first big moves as a Software Developer, trying to create the best applications and even buildding SaaS to practice the modern frameworks & languages.

Free Time.

Hobbies

I am very active in my life. I train in the gym four times a week, trying to improve my overall strength. I believe that discipline is of high importance in my life. I also like to go hiking in the mountains. I have climbed the highest mountain of the United Kingdom during one of my trips.

Goals

I am learning to become a full-stack developer, with a large amount off tools at my disposal. I am social and like to communicate with other people, and I will often ask others for feedback on my projects.
